On 6th of April’14, The Undertaker’s [Undefeated] Streak of 21-0 came to an end at WWE’s yearly event – WrestleMania 30 (it’s been going on for the past 30 years), now resting(in peace) at 21-1.
Till now, he had won 21 times and lost none of his fights in this yearly event
The reaction of the fans was a complete and utter silence followed by sheer dis-belief that they have witnessed the End.
Also, on 31st March’14, HIMYM came to an end. Then there was the Harry Potter series, which we all grew up watching, came to end in summer’11.
This caused me to ponder upon the thought as to “Why all good things must come to an end”.
WHY?
Aren’t things supposed to end for its own goods sake (and be relevant as well)?
If, suppoes, HIMYM would’ve ran another season (10th one), would the creators and writers had been able to do justice. Or another Harry Potter movie?
The Karmic rule of life states that – the current generation has to make way for the future generation to take over.
We have this innate tendency/urge to adjust with the status-quo, readily accept change and live a happy life forever. This makes us complacent and hampers creativity.
Sadly, our Politicians and Daily Soap Operas do believe as such, both are running way past their retirement (read expiration) and have lost the relevance.
Change is the only constant (& BREATH as well)
