1. What exactly do you do? Simple and non complicated.
I Manage an Education Group which I co-founded 3 years ago with Focus on Information Security Training. Primarily, I take care of Growth and Business Development.
2. Why do you do what you do? Is it to make money, to become famous, to retire, to kill boredom, WHAT?
Strangely, the answer to the question is not easy for me. My First venture was at the age of 14, at that time, it was mostly for money. As things grew and I became familiar with the Local Entrepreneur Ecosystem here, I quickly identified some Role Models and then an additional goal was to become something like them. However, at this point, although it sounds like a cliché, but I do what I do, because I Like to do it.
3. Is there anything unique in what you do? And here ‘unique’ can mean anything – doing what’s been done for donkeys years and yet in a more cost efficient manner, or something new in a boring business or line or simply inventing something completely new?
When we came into the Industry, it was a haphazard. Unprofessional organizations charging ridiculous amount of money for nothing. In the Last 3 years, we have emerged as the Market Leaders in our Domain by using Techniques and forming processes which are unique for the Industry. Practices range from the Internet Marketing Techniques developed by us to the Level of Automation we brought in our Sales and Customer Engagement Process. We recently became the First Indian Information Security Training Company to launch offices abroad and get International Acclaim.
4. What happens if this fails?
To be Honest, when I work, I don’t keep a backup or Plan B. My Philosophy is that if you are very much dependent on something, the pressure on you will make it work.
5. What’s gets you most irritated? And what makes you most happy?
When Things don’t happen as per a defined Process or System, and mostly people are to be blamed, it is quite irritating. Humans have great capabilities; however, we shall not forget that some of them are still dumb and unreliable.
Like a normal human being, I like growth and learning new stuff. Personally, I love Cars, weekend getaways, watching movies and latest gadgets. I am a man of Self Discipline and follow a Strict Work Schedule with a To-do List. I love the feeling which you get when you striking off work on a To-do List!
6. What makes you tick? Why the hell are you doing this?
As answered above, I love what I do. Everyday when I visualize my goals they give me the push needed to go ahead. I also read a lot of Inspirational books; see a lot of Movies, to keep myself motivated. Another great “Tick” is when I see our customers praising or our competitors badmouthing us. Both prove that we are doing well 🙂
7. Famous last words – if you knew you are going to be hit by a truck tomorrow, what would you like to tell the world (other than crossing the road safely)?
“Feel the success, before you see it”
