Will we see another recession in the US? There have been many write offs of bad loans, mortgages, etc. And recently we saw banks such as Barclays caught in LIBOR fixing scandal.
There were recent reports on HSBC and Standard Chartered getting involved in money laundering issue.
The problems in Euro zone will have a spillover effect in US and affect international trade.
Some US banks have also shown slowdown and decline in growth despite the recovery after Lehman crisis. Looks like the crisis has gone to the background for a while and will revert bank. Or there are possible new problems which can kickstart a new crisis altogether.
