Augment – Manage Your Cloud Apps From Gmail

Humans are social beings. We communicate with each other to get our work done. In today’s fast paced world, email has become our command center. We get so engrossed within mail that it takes up a major chunk of our time. According to a study it is said that we spend 28% of our workweek handing emails. Think about the amount of time we waste in just refreshing the email client anticipating a mail or replying to mails!

Imagine if we could spend more time on working and less on emails. Would it not help us to complete our tasks within the deadline? Would it not help us balance our work and life?

Yes it would!

At Augment we believe we all deserve to be ‘less busy’.  We ‘Augment’ your command center (pun intended) and give it slick superpowers. Really!  Augment lets you organize your emails and push tasks from actionable emails to the apps that you use. Which is very crucial because you need to spend time completing the task and not scuffling in your inbox.

Here is a quick walk-through of how Augment functions:

You can connect your cloud apps like Evernote, Trello, Asana, Dropbox and Google Calendar with Augment. In turn, Augment lets you handle these apps straight from your Gmail inbox. Very soon you will be able to integrate Todoist and Basecamp as well. We are also working towards integrating more of your favourite apps. You can tweet to us at @getaugment and let us know what apps would you like to see as part of Augment.

Visit our website at https://getaugment.com to download the plugin. Hope to see you all on the Augment side 🙂

  3. This is cool! We live inside the gmail inbox, calendar, and asana.  However, I can’t seem to get it to work consistently.  Right now its stuck at “loading” for the past 5 minutes.

  4. Hi John,
