A few months ago, I purchased a Dell Laptop. Good blend of offerings (specs+price). Dell Inspiron 14″ 2nd Gen Ci5/ 4 GB/ 1 TB/ 1 GB AMD Radeon/ Windows 7 Home Basic( Branded Backpack ) (1 qty) . Price=Rs 40401.
Little did I knew, I would repent buying a 14″ one although I am happy with the specs. The keys are a bit spaced unlike a 15.6″ one, so just not able to type freely. Also, I still miss the 3*3 number keypad.
I believe it would be difficult to get a 15.6″ keyboard panel for a 14″ one (smaller alphabets), considering the demand and market size. Also, I doubt the ease of operatibility given the keys would be smaller than required.
Thought of purchasing a separare keypad but even that would not solve the complete problem since other keys (ctrl, enter, etc) are not easy move around.
Could anyone suggest some better option other than selling this one/buying new one?
