Well, when I get any communication (spam or otherwise), I train myself to look at it ‘forensically’ as if I work for CSI – RODINHOOD.
I looked and saw a glaring mistake:
Something is wrong with the difference in pricing of Single and Double occupancy of the ‘Super Deluxe Room’.
This is because the rate difference of this room category should be lower than the rate difference of the category above it – of Royal Super Deluxe Room
OR
The Royal Super Deluxe Room Double pricing is wrong.
I wrote to the hotel and this is what was exchanged:

So, what am I suggesting?
– That you waste your precious time pondering over SPAM mails and pointing out mistakes in them?
Not really.
– I am suggesting that you should train your mind to be quick to spot inconsistencies in numbers, in pricing, in metrics when presented, so that it helps you in your business/job.
Use mails like these as simple tests. Once you get into the groove, it will help you AND of course the person concerned.
PS – took about 20 minutes of my time in between Monday mails and the regular mayhem. But considering this post and the help to the Hotel, I think it was worth it 🙂

This generated some interest and I realised I was not alone. So to share the feedback, I went on their website to look for email id.
While doing it I stumbled on their Factory Address and found this….
Now, We all know that NOIDA is not in Haryana, but in UP.
But then I thought that my Mail to Customer care may not be effective and Since I have been Following Nadia Chauhan of Parle group on Twitter………..Let me connect with her for this.
In a span of 15 days, I sent her 3 tweets, requesting her email id for the feedback.
After 3rd reply she tweets back.
I have been interacting with many youth Entrepreneurs, CEO’s, promoters on a regular basis, and even when they did not know me, they never hesitated to share their email id’s, rather they are all open to all kinds of Feedbacks and Suggestions.
Anyways, I did reply her with this………..and rested my case.My grammar was a but wrong, as had to fit in 140 characters (If my English Teacher sees this, she will beat me Black And Blue)
Now, I may be wrong, may have jumped too early, May be demanding too much…………………But that is the way I am.
We all are wrong in some way or other, and if we don’t accept and change today, then the wrongs will keep multiplying.
And yes………….I do have an Album Called POSSIBILITIES, wherein some of these wrongs or Unusual instances have been caught. All of them have been caught by me.
