(Sometime in February 2013) …
We folks at BearShop decided to solve our own problem of reporting bugs. We started it as a weekend project … and ended up with an awesome product that we called BugClipper.
We made our first pitch at the Rodinhoods Open house in March and everyone loved it. Our presentation got featured as HOT on slideshare home page and BugClipper was being talked about.
BugClipper was chosen as one of the top 6 startups for the smashers award in Alok ‘Rodinhood’ Kejriwal’s team. Alok mentored us for the smashers and we faired well.
Alok & MK guided and helped us a lot in getting to know how bug reporting worked for the games. They also connected us to the G2W QA team and developers to get more insights.
Reporting bugs is a tedious task, it takes a lot more to report a bug than to find one
BugClipper for apps
After numerous discussions with QA testers, freelance developers, and many app studios we realized that reporting bugs for mobile apps was even more painful.
We partnered with Winjit Technologies to make reporting bugs really easy for mobile apps. Winjit has been building pretty cool stuff for mobile, and with their support we have come with BugClipper for iOS.
BugClipper – A a plug n play library designed to enhance your app. It lets you capture screen shots, highlight issues & record screen activity with just one tap from inside your own app.
It easily integrates with your app and powers your app with the right tools to report bugs.
Available for download at BugClipper.com
I invite app developers, testers and publishers to try BugClipper for your iOS apps and share your feedback with us. You can download your free trial here.
Here is how it works –
