Chief Business Development Officer

We, at Rekhaprocity Software Pvt. Ltd. (www.favr.today), are currently on the lookout for a Chief Business Development Officer who will be responsible for creating and enhancing Gift Card categories domestically in India as well as on an international scale.!

Responsibilities !

You will report directly to the CEO and execute the company’s domestic and international business strategy ensuring operational excellence. We are looking at a hard-core sales and marketing person who has an interest in working for a startup. Further responsibilities include the analysis of the competitive market space and business needs, providing input into product requirements, execution of the sales strategy set in tandem with the CEO of the company, and providing support to your team in achieving its goals.!

Primary Responsibilities: 

Ownership of P&L

Identify and launch new markets for potential expansion. 

Curating the list of merchants who fit the profile we are targeting. Generating leads and closing deals.

Build systems and processes for sound business management. 

Recruit, mentor and train international team. 

Establish operational priorities and allocate resources for maximising productivity. 

Oversee all marketing activities of all foreign markets. 

In addition to the core responsibilities we are looking for someone who is a generalist and can take on other responsibilities such as marketing and operations as well.

Qualifications 

3+ years of experience in a marketing or technical field. Preference for experience in sales and relationships with merchants in consumer internet or equivalent industry. 

Very strong quantitative and analytical abilities with a proven track record of making data driven decisions. 

An intuitive understanding of user acquisition, engagement and retention. 

Good understanding of international gift card and mobile payment scenario, business drivers and competitive landscape and the ability to translate this understanding into an effective go-to-market plan. 

Demonstrated operations and people management aptitude with an ability to build, motivate and mentor teams. 

Project management experience and/or proven ability to deliver across a variety of teams. 

Impact orientation – willingness to manage team and work with tight deadlines and create business impact. 

Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills. 

Self-starter, hands-on approach and high motivation, with minimal supervision required. 

Willingness to work in an unstructured environment (of a start-up)
