Hi all,
We are building a responsive web app with the following features:
- Facebook-like messaging and commenting system
- Single-page layout
- Dynamic on-page updates without refreshing the page
- Chatting, commenting and threading functionalities on the same page
- text search on messages
Plus, following points to be kept in consideration –
– We have used ZURB Foundation (https://foundation.zurb.com/) as the front-end framework – this has some in-built usage of Modernizr and Jquery.
– Highly scalable (mandatory)
– Talent pool available: I have no shortage of people in Java (not mandatory, but preferred)
Can someone please help with deciding the technology stack for such a system?

Hi Prateek, the request is very broad, and i believe this can not be discussed on a forum here or others like stackoverflow. I believe we should first understand the business and use cases, and your backlog ideas on how you see the product to evolve. Based on these perspectives one could take wise technical decisions .
