Cricket and Nostalgia

Cricket is a game that Indians have loved for decades together! The famous sport has so many individual memories attached to it. Remember the time when we used to escape from our daily life schedule just to watch Indo-Pak matches? Or simply go down and play with your friends in your childhood? Or should I remind you of the times when you wanted to play the sport so badly in your school/college lecture that you started playing cricket in your book with friends??

Well, here’s something that I personally would like to offer:

I would like all rodinhooders to check out this game and provide their candid review on the same. This game signifies the nostalgia attached to the game cricket. Cricket is a religion in our country, India.

In a time when the PlayStore is filled with cricket games that are no different than each other rather than the publisher name. Almost every game is similar to the other one and there is no sense of uniqueness in it. I agree that since games are based on the sport there can’t be any uniqueness in the games. However, we have learnt over the ages that “We are limited only by our imagination”. While my team thought that since this is the season of cricket we should also have a game on PlayStore thats based on the same sport. We strived hard to differ and we held up brainstorming sessions for the same wherein we came up with this idea. It instantly consumed us with its uniqueness and we searched for games based on the same concept. We found out there were a few games on the concept however their quality lacked significantly. Therefore we decided to develop a game on “Book Cricket” titled “Cricket Tap 20” wherein you tap on the book and score runs. You can play 20 balls.

Most of the crowd here might be searching for ways to grow their business and earn more profits, however this post is for the few who encourage unique ideas and support innovative thinking.
