I wn’t recommend a government job to brilliant minds.Government jobs going to kill their zeal and make them losers.Government jobs are good for average people ,so they can sleep in offices 😀

I would love MoS or Ambassador job, but thats me. Govt jobs now pay you well, from what I have seen, BARC,NPC,ISRO,IITs,IIMs and other research organizations are great. You can crib about money if you want to, but those who love other things more it does not matter much. Their stay, campus, and entire package is great.
No idea about non-research govt organizations.
