First of all, I am not much of a writer kind of guys. I am a Rodinhooder since last good time and never tried to write or post something except if I need any help.
But today, just few mins back I got Marketing mail from one of the big MNC telecom brand MTS-Sistema Shyam Teleservices Limited which makes me to write this, in the hope that this could reach to the appropriate authority who can look in to the matter not to make the mistake again.
This is the screenshot of the mail I received which will reveal all the things.
MTS MBlaze – Recharge with 1545 & get 1.5GB Free instead of 15GB for 90 Days!
MTS is saying that spend 1545 and get 1.5 GB instead of regular 15 GB which they were used to give me earlier.
Once I read that subject line I was shocked that in the period of cut throat competition why on the earth MTS is offering such pathetic offer!!!! But than after I opened and read entire mail and got actual offer and information that its 15.5 GB and not 1.5 GB.
Its pretty simple that this mail is a part of mass mailing so probably at least thousands of recipients might have got the same mail.
So company like MTS which is actually a very big and Reputed Russian based MNC who is actually in the field of Internet only (Data is their priority not Voice) is not having even a single person who can cross check what their mass mailing outsourcing contractors are sending???? And this is not the first time I have seen such mail, earlier there were other few mistakes I had found in other companies which includes e-commerce based portals, some big publication house etc etc etc.
The main question is are they really serious about Internet Marketing in India???
PS: I am really a fan of MTS Data Cards and their Superb Speed, which I get almost everywhere.
asha chaudhry
it’s probably a typo… the decimal got shifted.
just guessing!
Kandarp Devashrayee
Asha Ji, but its 1.5 instead of 15.5 so not only decimal but one whole digit is also missing.
They must have to double check before doing any kind of marketing mass mailing, kya kehte ho?
