Dr V Kurien, the man who imagined and worked tirelessly to help set up and run the much acclaimed Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation, AMUL passed away on 12th September 2012. We want the Govt of India to recognise his efforts and award him the Bharat Ratna.

Looking at the list of winners here, we find a total lack of real nation builders (who ensured India’s GDP grew) like Dr Kurien. JRD Tata is the only other truly enterprising name that is on the list.
