Its been a while I made a post, that’s because I was working on my next project – CMS Launcher. It’s a fairly straight forward but neat idea – host your own customizable WordPress website in 60 seconds. Yay! another WordPress hosting provider? Not quite, read on..
I have been in web hosting / cloud servers for last several years. I have realized that while many want to launch their website (yes, even in today’s app hungry world) but it still seems like a daunting task. More often than not, they tend to hire a developer.

Domain Configuration Page
You will be taken straight to client area > domain configuration. Here you can either purchase a new domain, use your existing domain (and update the name servers) or get a free sub-domain from us. I am going to use the third option.
WordPress Hosting Configuration Page
You will be asked to choose a server location from US, UK or Singapore. I have chosen Singapore and then selected WordPress to install with username and password for WordPress dashboard login. See my point yet?
(You can ignore all the addons in the bottom of the page for now).
Billing & Payment Methods
This is the last page, where you will be asked to enter your billing details, set your account password (to login to the client area) and choose a payment method. Since this is a $0.00 order (due to being a trial order), just click on any of the option and hit “Complete Order”. For our Indian customers, we have option to pay in INR.
That’s it! Your website is up and running. Mind you – this is nothing like WordPress.com based blogs, this is a complete and untouched installation of WordPress.org based software which can be completely customized. You can install your plugins and themes.
You will receive a welcome email contain information on how to login to FTP, cPanel and other details.
