equipdeal.com is a venture started out of a garage with a vision of becoming India’s preferred B2B marketplace for Indian SMEs to buy, sell and rent industrial & power tool equipment. equipdeal.com lets users to post free ads for buying, selling and renting industrial capital and power equipment such as Machine Tools, Material Handling Equipment, Earth Moving Equipment, Plastic Machinery, processing equipment & many other power tools.
Opportunity & Industry traction –
SMEs are of key importance to Indian economy – they contribute around 17% GDP with over 30M units, The new ‘Make In India’ mission, has brought the capital equipment sector into the main focus for economic growth. what i like is that you’re doing something different – you’ve identified a gap and have tried to solve it!
i’m not really your TA so will refrain from commenting much. only one earnest request is to correct EQUIPMENTS in all your branding. the word doesn’t exist. it is equipment. that is the plural form only. i have taken the liberty to correct it everywhere on your post (i have OCD when it comes to such things!!), and would urge you to change it all over your branding 🙂

I don’t see any recent entry – some of the listings displayed on the home page are from June! How are you reaching out to your target audience? Are you sure people who are going to buy, for example, lathe machine, will check for used machines online? Maybe you have already done user behaviour analysis – if not, please do that as soon as possible.
The concept looks good – you need to find the right way to reach out to your audience.

we are using more of offline means to reach out and we are also looking for partners & online options. Yes, we have done a bit of behavioral analysis and most of the transaction happens through unorganized channels, tadeshows & industry connects.
Competitors are largely established players line indimart, tradeinida etc.
