The purpose of this post is to receive suggestions / feedback on the newly developed plugin ( as a replacement to Captcha & SMS OTP )

Why Needed:
Over Past few years everyone witnessed Captcha as a most effective way to control spam and SMS OTP ( One Time Password ) as one of the most popular way to Authorize user identity.
But from Business’s perspective, SMS OTP implementation is quite an expensive solution, Businesses are spending almost between 10-20 paisa per sms. ( An average eCommerce company spends almost between 10-20K per month on SMS based user verification ) so we thought of developing some value added alternative to SMS OTP and there arised idea of using Missed Call As An Alternative to Captcha & OTP.
The next thought was, why not readily avail them plug-in, which could not just act as an alternative to OTP & Captcha but would be Easily integrated into any website. ( irrespective of particular web programming language ) and so we have built a working prototype to serve the purpose.
How It Works:
It is merely a single line of code which webmasters need add to their site, to get Dial2verify Plug-in running.
- Once user signs up / submits the form on your website, a modal window opens up displaying a random number image.
- User needs to give a missed call to the image displayed ( this acts As an alternative to Captcha )
- Dial2verify server then validates the missed call and automatically submits the form on your website. ( Acts as a replacement to SMS OTP, where user’s mobile number is verified based on a random code sent to user’s device )
- That’s it.

- It eliminates the chances / risks of delayed SMS delivery
- No impact on existing code ( It is just one line of code which you need to append before </body> tag)
- You can capture verification logs to remote CRM application, Email in real-time ( & AT NO additional cost )

We have built an interface to explain, how a simple missed call can be used as a replacement to traditional username / password based login systems.

Above demo, is a customized version of https://php-login-script.com/ ( php login script )
With just 2-3 Kb of code changes, we have transformed it into missed call based login system.
*** Although we have used India Landline numbers for demo, but Considering risk of caller id spoofing, we recommend using 1800XX tollfree numbers for prod implementations.

This looks like a good option definitely!!
Not sure but if this could be implemented as a working model on TRHs here ? for all new member listings or also to the existing ones as well, so that the latest numbers and emails could be kept updated at all times.

Yes it could be easily integrated, We would just need one custom field in the form ( Telephone Number )
But this point gave me one more idea, we would develop 2 versions of the plug-in,
1. For websites already having <PhoneNumber> field.
2. For websites which do not have <PhoneNumber> field.
