This is Vijay , I am one of the co-founders of Freekall , a product where you can call any mobile or landline for free . The revolutionary part is you don’t require internet to make a free call in our platform!
We did a phenomenal public beta wherein we had about 600K calls in 4 days from 3 L unique users, details on how Freekall works.
Since Ad revenue is the core revenue model we had to take down the service in just 5 days since we didn’t have the bandwidth of advertisers back then.
We have re-launched the service for registered users only from first of June and have been running successfully for 2 months. Wherein we have increased our base to about 5 lakh users and a total of 50 Lakh calls executed including the beta.
We have built Advertiser portal where-in advertisers can place the ad by uploading the audio jingle and targeting the group and able to track the Real Time analytics as like google adwords.
We have done test campaigns for brands like Justbooks, IndiaProperty , Srisankaramatrimony.com , Noble Academy , KeralaStores.in . We have a pilots from a major e commerce giant and leading FMCG player going live by end of this month.
