Hi Rodinhooders!
At FreshMonk we’ve shipped thousands of t-shirts & hoodies to 15+ countries over the last year with our 0-risk, 0-investment model and we wanted to introduce ourselves today.
Getting custom apparel for your group is a great idea
The problem is:
- You have to invest money up-front and guess the number of pieces and sizes
- Payment collection, delivery and quality is a pain
- Most custom apparel providers provide terrible quality at really high prices
FreshMonk Has A Better Way
1) Just design a t-shirt, set a goal, selling period and decide your profit margin
2) Facebook/Tweet/Email your campaign link to your group members, friends and family. Buyers pre-pay individually, so there’s no guesswork
3) FreshMonk collects orders from individuals across the world, produces and ships them, and sends you a cheque for the profit.
FreshMonk is great for
- Non Profits/Causes LGBT Rights – Say no to 377, Elephant Rescue Organizations
- Online Communities Facebook Groups, Windows Phone Lovers
- Brands The Outdoor Journal
- And more
Selling custom apparel the old fashioned way is too painful (See Why), we make the process easy and digital. We were founded in 2014 and are backed by investors from Singapore and the UK.
We’d love to hear from fellow Rodinhooders and if there’s demand for an official Rodinhoods tee and hoodie, we’ll speak to Asha and the team about a campaign for everyone.

meanwhile, i recall reading about your funding here (just dug it out for everyone else) –
https://www.vccircle.com/news/technology/2015/01/22/custom-designed-crowd-selling-startup-freshmonk-raises-funding-august-cap
many congrats on this!!! prashant just a quick observation on how your model is different from others – if you could edit this post and share more about the crowdfunding angle so folks (i know you’ve shared screenshots which is perfect!) but i think if you wrote just a bit more about it, it will register better!!
and, whenever you have a breather pls do share the learnings you picked up while getting funded. we have so many early-stage entrepreneurs here who would really benefit from your insights….
kudos once again!

ps: forgot to mention, our tees are not up for sale 🙂 you have to win one, to wear one!!
