Front end engineer required for education technology startup

Edvento.com is a socially adaptive, GMAT / GRE test prep platform which provides an interesting, gamified interface to make learning a fun experience. It is backed by a Founder team comprising of IT-BHU / ISB / IIM alumni. The entire team profile:

It is an exciting time for us at Edvento. Our product is already under Open Beta and getting good response (read 1000+ users in a few months). As we go out of Beta, we are looking at some cool features for v2 of our product and also strengthen our code base. Further along, we have an exciting roadmap ahead which involves making a solid platform for giving us content breadth and implementing machine learning algorithms to give us a powerful adaptive learning product. We are expanding our team at a very fast pace and feature releases are happening ahead of schedule.

And now, we are looking for a UI engineer. We need someone who is an expert designing user flows, modern UI resulting in an awesome user experience.

Specifically, we are looking at the following skills:

Skills required:

1. Passion for web design.

2. HTML5 / CSS3 knowledge is a must

3. Knowledge of Javascript and frameworks (essentially jQuery)

4. Photoshop knowledge is big plus as mockups will be required for complex designs

5. Experience in wireframing tools

6. Understanding of cross browser compatibility and browser layout engines

7. Willingness to learn CSS frameworks like SASS or Less.
