Cogxio (Venture With Love by Fullerene Solutions and Services (P) Ltd.) is looking to expand its small and driven team with a smart and entrepreneurial technical co-founder to lead the design, build, and future growth of our innovative online & offline platform. Talent and personality are important to us, so we are looking for people who are excited about coming in and kicking ass right away. Since we are an early stage bootstrap startup, we do not care about job titles and there is no formal job description. The ideal person would take initiative at pointing out issues and solving problems – and will have a major impact on the product’s overall system architecture.

As our newest frontend engineer, you’ll be joining the ranks of core team and working on everything that makes Cogxio /Cogxio awesome. Where to begin, where to begin… We are looking for technical co-founder with entrepreneurial mind who is interested to work in growing startup and have interest in social dating, human relationship, lifestyle, fashion, personality development industry. You’re in love with the startup world and want to make your mark in it.
We’re a startup, so we’re a small and flexible team with pretty fluid role definitions. You know that things move fast and change frequently around here, but you thrive in the type of environment where everybody jumps in to solve a challenge. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Core Responsibilities include development of Web & Mobile based platform for social dating, lifestyle & match-making with detailed object-oriented models for handling a social platform with knowledge of algorithms.
- Social interaction – Build a strong social interaction platform.
- User Experience – continuously improve the UX for stickiness factor.
- Working with templating languages like Freemarker, JSP, Mustache and Handlebars
- Willing to relocate to Bangalore area
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelors Degree in Web Development, Computer Science or combined equivalent of education and/or experience is required
- Extensive knowledge of native JavaScript and JS frameworks such as Angular.js/Backbone.js/jQuery
- Ability to create layouts using advanced and semantic HTML5 and CSS3, as well as previous HTML and CSS specs eas
- Hate tools like Adobe Dream weaver , Expression Web etc.
- Experience with object-oriented JavaScript, Strong object oriented design skills, knowledge of design patterns, ability to design intuitive module and class-level interfaces
- Strong understanding of JavaScript performance and optimization – support growth of thousands of daily new users while reducing our response times.
- Extensive use of APIs and understanding of HTTP and REST architecture
- Strong web portfolio required** (showcasing the aforementioned skills)
- Comfortable working in a *nix environment and using GNU tools
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

BONUS POINTS:
- Experience with SASS or other CSS pre-processor
- Experience with version control such as Git
- Prior work experience with a similar social/lifestyle/dating/match-making web-startup
