My name is Tim Lagerpusch, director of the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CIE) (www.cie-kit.de) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany. I got recommended to you through Mr. Jijo Parookkaran of the Indian Consulate in Munich. My colleague Christian Schwarzkopf and I are coming to
Delhi on July 28th – 31st,
Bangalore on August 1st -2nd
Mumbai on August 3rd 2011.
We intend to meet representatives of investing companies, incubators, start-ups and entrepreneurship centers in India for an exchange of ideas and potential form of cooperation. Deal flows, lead & co-investment, internationalization of start-ups, seed financing, start-up cross border cooperation are just a few of the topics we would like to discuss. We are also interested in meeting IT outsourcing partners for our start-ups. We cooperate closely with many funds in Germany such as Earlybird or HTGF.
As an entrepreneur I have founded the CIE as a start-up incubator together with another experienced entrepreneur, currently dealing with over 200 project teams. Our goal is to foster entrepreneurial mindset, increase innovations and especially to help out start-ups to grow and succeed. Embedded in the KIT structure and supported by the German government it is still run like a company, trying to bring the best people together, coach and consult them, in order to increase their chances for a successful company. With a high-profile network of experts, investors and entrepreneurs around the globe and creative supporting services for its teams, the CIE has established itself as a unique and promising platform for start-ups.
We would be very delighted if you could connect us to relevant people that we definitely should meet during our stay.
I would like to setup some ideas and experience exchange with Indescon, too.
We are looking forward to hearing from you and meeting the Indian Entrepreneurship Community.
Anyone of you up for a coffee meeting?
