Last evening, the pathway of the Monastery was carpeted with fresh, round, beady grey pebbles of gravel!
The monks excitedly walked up and down the pathway listening to the gorgeous ‘crunch crunch’ sound of the gravel under their feet.
Curious Monk asked Head Monk, “Why the gravel?” Head Monk bowed and said, “Just to remind us that every step we take … matters…”
