I had applied for a BSNL landline and broadband connection almost 5 weeks ago in Gurgaon. The application process was fairly straightforward and I was assured that the line would be installed in a few days.
Those few days stretched on and after 5 weeks, there is still no sign of the connection.
I had followed up a couple of times (both in person and via phone calls) and was always told that it would be done in a few days but to no avail.
I finally got an Airtel connection to end my frustration (which was installed in two days flat )
Am thinking of now filing a case in Consumer Court for deficiency in providing services.
Just wanted to check if anyone as sued BSNL in consumer court and what the experience has been like.( and any advice / pointers I should be aware of )
I don’t really want to file an RTI application.
