Hi,
We are HASH, a revolutionary app that connects you to people you may need, either for play or for business; to possibilities and opportunities that you didn’t know existed.
Hash gives you the opportunity to interact and populate your ideas in the given hyper-local space. It also helps you connect with local businesses around you, which enables a faster flow of information. Our aim is to connect the world within the world. Whether you want to discover a new place or its people, Hash will guide you!
Express yourself freely to the world, and how? Create your own hashtags to start conversations with people around you in real-time. Get to know of various discounts and offers tendered by local services, from existing hashtags. Help yourself to other news and discussions that are pertinent to you and your surroundings.
Talk history, culture, food, sport, music, politics or the world and learn of history, culture, food, sport, music, politics or the world! Or simply have fun interacting with new people and getting yourself the best deals as you go.
A 1000 downloads across the country, in the first two days, speaks volumes of this multi-utility app.
Highlights of the app:
There is just one! Help us help yourself connect with the world, wherever you go. Make new friends, learn, explore and execute!
Use cases:
1. Mobilise the attention of your community toward relevant issues that could say, help save a tree or provide for the less fortunate. Enable the enhancement of your locality with the power of social media, one locality at a time.
2. You’re heading out for drinks in a new city, not sure of which pub is offering the best deal or screening the match you want. Simply log in to Hash and get real-time information and reviews from the pub and customers!
3. You want to share a cab from the railway station. Create a hashtag, e.g. #ShareCabToAndheri and interact with other passengers as you find yourself a ride home!

Thanks Asha.
It allows you to interact with people around you one on one as well as through public forums created through hashtags. We have included all the safety features such as invisible mode.
And added our twitter handle in the post.

all this is fine, but HOW do you become a habit?
How and WHY will people remember you every day?
Twitter is going bankrupt because people don’t use it everyday! WHAT will make people use you?
Its not WHAT you do – its WHY you do….

Hi Alok,
I am co-founder/developer of HASH. “How do you become a habit?” – This is where our marketing kicks in. As developer we have built a platform, which we believe has tremendous potential with numerous use cases. But if we put a user into such platform without any direction, not telling them WHY they need to use it, we will lose them.
So a major part of our marketing strategy is to focus on areas where we can initially engage and monitor. Push use cases to audience which are relevant to them. Play out some scenarios and conversation using our initial users and friends. Create lot of relevant data one day in a location and next day go blitzkrieg getting users on board from that location. We will focus on giving a awesome experience to handful of people in a locality and build a community around it. Hopefully we then become a habit!

hey how’s hash doing?
Alazhar Kapadia
Hey Asha,
Hash is going good. We currently have 11,000+ signed up users on our platform for Google Play Store and Apple.
Learning from the users behavior and feedback and making the necessary changes. Currently working on a new version with improved UI and better chat functionality.
Keep building small communities of HASH users in Mumbai region.
