Home-in-Hand SmartBoard – Looking for potential customers

Hi

A few of you would already know me from my previous post, I started working on smart switch board more than 1 year ago. The good news is that the board prototype is complete!!! And the same has been delivered to first 15 customer acquired through crowd funding campaign! The board can control electrical devices connected through it via a mobile app.

Home-in-Hand.com

Here are some screenshots of mobile app:

There are a host of features like soft energy statistics, scenarios, one touch activation through widget, scheduling etc.

Now, we are looking for potential customers who can provide bulk order. It could be real-estate builders for greenfield deployment or some electrical company (eg Havells) who can be interested in customization/rebranding/transfer of technology.

Does any of you have such links? It would be great if you can help me to connect.

Also, any other suggestions for reaching to next stage? Going for retail would require a lot of investment and marketing effort, is the above approach a correct one?

  1. Hi,

I went through your website and followings are my observations :-

    1. There is nothing mentioned about the team.

    2. No mention of where can one buy this.

Since you want to grow and seek bulk orders. I need to know whether Patent is possible for this product ? How is it different from many other “Internet Of Things” already present in the market ?

Are you registered on bulk buying sites for industrial products like Tradeindia, Power2Sme?

Lots of startups are working in IOT and Solar Energy segments, how about strategic alliance with them ?

Have you approached Govt to install this under their Smart City plan ?

How big is your manufacturing setup as you are planning to sell to Havells or so ?

  2. Hi Sandeep,

This is really awesome. But as Varun has mentioned, you need to provide more information on your website. I’m still not sure how it works, how much it costs, what are the sizes/types available, the product specs, warranty, etc. You need to add all of this before you can expect any orders. Also, is your product ROHS certified? I believe that is necessary.

We are also launching an IoT product and our beta website is live. You can check it out here: https://acyl.in/web/

This gives a clear idea about the product, specs and pricing.
