How did you hire customer care reps for your startup?

Hello Everyone,

We are looking to hire customer care representatives for our startup Evibe.in. We have tried channels like Naukri.com and Babajobs.com but somehow there are no quality leads / candidates.

Can you please share how you hired for these roles at your startup? Are there any other good channels to explore?

Many thanks in advance,

Anji

  1. We mostly did through local classified and referrals mostly due to cost constrains. It turned out good for us.

  2. Thanks Vivek, will explore local classifieds. Yes, we do have cost constraints.

  5. Hey Anji,

If you are looking for 1/2 resources better to outsource the operations.Or you can always tap into networks like sheroes for good candidates. If you are looking at mid to senior resources Linked IN is a good bet.

  6. Hey Vivek, yup we are trying out with few placement agencies. Thanks, Anji

  7. Anoop, at the moment we are looking at entry level position. Since we are at early stage, I believe outsourcing will not be right now.

Let me check with the group you mentioned.

    Thanks, Anji

  8. Vivek, sorry to bother your again. Can you please let me know what kind of local classifieds you have used? Is it posting a job classified in news papers likes TOI, BangaloreMirror etc or are there any other local and cheaper means?

  9. Well, decide paper based on people you plan to hire.

E.g. Customer Reps. What do you think which paper they normally read in your city to look for jobs? It can be TOI or vernacular.

To share my personal experience:  We found Vernacular paper having better ROI as compare to TOI.

  10. Thanks Vivek. Let me check with Bangalore Mirror / TOI, the kind of candidates we want might mostly be active there.
