How to create product catalogue

Hi R’Hooders,

I need help/advice for an idea I am working on.

I want to create a catalog of all mobiles/tablets/laptops for my venture. It should have technical specs and images of the product.

I considered following options:

1. Manual data collection from manufacturer/other ecommerce websites

2. Checked www.icecat.biz. But it does not provide full catalogs.

3. Writing a java/php program to convert HTML pages containing tech spec into desired format

4. Any downloadable tool/extension to extract data from manufacturer/ecommerce portals

5. Last option: Buy these catalogs if available.

Can you please suggest if there is any better options than this?

from catalog you mean a catalog site ? or a printed catalog ?

I want to create electronic product catalog for an ecommerce portal.
