hey guys this is my first post here. i am very happy to be a part of RODINHOOD family.
guys i need your help!!
I have prepared a business plan video on “food security on urban slums” for a SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP COMPETITION organized by Hult business school and Clinton global initiative.
Their are around 75 participants for online competition out of which top 10 will make into further round! From India their are only 5 participants. I am one of those 5.
The selection of top 10 is purely voting based.
I am presently at 19th position an i need to make into top 10. Last date of voting is 12th may so i am approaching here for help and guidance.
please help me like how should i start doing campaigning? and how should i promote my idea? how to convince somebody to vote for me.
the major problem i am facing is that no body is ready to even have a look at my video.it is very difficult for me to approach them and convince them.
secondly being a student of first year i cannot spend much on campaigning.i don’t have enough funds. so i need cheap and effective marketing strategies.
Now only you all can save me. Please help me in promoting it.
the voting closes on 12th may 11:59 PM according to PST. i know i am late but still i have faith that i can make into top 10. please help me and if you like the idea also vote for me! 😉
because “EACH AND EVERY VOTE COUNTS”
I am sending you a link please take out 5 minutes from your schedule and have a look at my plan. The name of video is ”JeevAnn” made by TEAM SUNSHINE of ramdeobaba college Nagpur.

hello abhishek
first of all i participated because HULT PRIZE and CLINTON GLOBAL INITIATIVE is very big name. it was a big platform for presenting your ideas. i was very much interested in it and i was just like dreaming in a fantasy world so i thought that i should give it a try.
it is just like giving INDIAN IDOL audition for fun even when you know that you cannot sing.
yes it was just that even i was not convinced with my presentation. it was something hypothetical and cannot be implemented in today’s world.
but as i mentioned earlier i just wanted to try. which i did. i just tried and eventually gave my best. it was first time for me when i participated in any business plan competition. i enjoyed it a lot and i came to know a lot many things about a business and all.
i was looking for help but your reply was an eye opener for me. i was deeply engrossed in competition and stuff.but now i am completely out of it. thank you!
P.S: i lost! 🙁
regards
anuj!
