Yes. And I don’t doubt this at all.
Why?
If you have seen the 10x10x10 show & tell ppt format, after the intro slide it immediately asks,
“The Market Problem”
So the first thing an Entrepreneur does is to find out what is troubling his potential customer. Now this customer may be completely stranger to him, but he still pours in his 3M (mind, money and manpower) to identify the solution.
Now unless you love someone, would you put your mind, money and manpower to work for that person?
The Next thing the 10x10x10 show & tell ppt asks you the “Market Size and Potential”
Once the solution is identified by him, the Entrepreneur envisions the maximum number of people who can take benefit of his service or the maximum number of people whom his product can delight. He knows that happiness and love multiply when shared!
The ppt asks “What is the competition offering”
He test-markets it. If the product is not able to delight the consumer or if the competition is offering better quality/price, he takes that feedback, goes back to the drawing board, reconstructs and comes back with an updated product.
He does that till his consumer says ‘Yes, I like it’.
After getting this feedback, he again re-visits his drawing board.
Why?
He doesn’t stop improving the product till the customer says ‘Yes, I love it’.
I told you. He loves his customers and will offer only that product which rejoices them.
The ppt asks “What are you looking for”
The Entrepreneur knows that his product is excellent and wants maximum people to take benefit of it. But to expand the reach, he requires more 3M. Personally, he has limits in all the three.
So he is even willing to part equity in his company for more 3M.
Mind you, he is constantly thinking of this company and his customers in day-light and dreaming in moonlight.Sometimes, dreaming in the day-light and awake and thinking in the moon-light.
You would do this only for a person whom you love!
And Lo, the ppt even asks – Threats and Deaths!
He risks threats and even death of his company – for his customers, whom he loves.
But the risks don’t deter him, for he knows that Love triumphs!
And till now I haven’t even written about the cushy jobs, fat salaries, international holidays, ESOPs, at times even social respect, etc. all sacrificed only for the Love for the customer!
My warm regards to all the Entrepreneurs, for I know that they are born to spread love!
See you all on 27th July 2012!
