Jo Hota Hai, Ache Ke liye Hota Hai…#GoodLuck

I have always believed in whatever happens; happens for good. Several instances in the past have made me firmly believe in that; I am not sure what percent of it has to do with #GoodLuck, but let’s attribute some to it for sure.

To share some quick instances:

1)      I was born and brought up abroad. My mom had given me strict instructions that you can pursue your future education anywhere but Mumbai. It took a lot of convincing – I am not sure what was pulling me to the city. And I have been living in Mumbai since almost 8 years having completed my qualifications and doing well professionally as well.

2)      We were working a lot behind the scenes for my earlier venture but somehow we were not able to launch it and kept pushing the dates. The delay was causing a lot of negativity in the team as inspite of trying hard we were not reaching our destination. But once launched, we received a lot of positive feedback and were covered by inter alia MidDay, Hindustan Times, CNBC TV 18, Business Outlook in quick succession.

3)      Due to some personal reasons, I had to quit the venture I mentioned in the above point. I hated the time when i decided to leave to the time I actually move out. Stabilizing my life was another war I was waging on a regular basis. But the time I spent on ground the venture exposed me to various fields and avenues of a business which is being admired and appreciated by my current team and helping me stay ahead of the team and lead them effectively.

4)      During my CA internship, I got an offer to join my dream company but my then boss refused to let me go. Eventually, I got to join them around 4 months later. During these 4 months I was able to complete my graduation, purchase a home and arrange a home loan which would have been a herculean task had I joined my dream company.

5)      I was scheduled to go for the Jagriti Yatra in 2013 but ended up going in 2014. I heard that this was the best managed and organized journey by far. More importantly I made and amazing set of friends, connections and lots of learning’s which I believe would not have been so effective in the previous year.

So many a times, we regret that what the f*** have I done wrong in life for xyz thing happening to me. But then all pieces of the puzzle always fall in place; sometimes destiny and luck plays a major role in showing us the right way and helping us overcome the negatives and look at things in the right perspective.
