Looking for a RainMaker Associate at AngelPrime, a Seed Stage VC Fund in BLR….

AngelPrime, a seed-stage fund in Bangalore that I am a Managing Partner in, is looking to bring on-board a full-time kick-ass rainmaker – to help us identify some of the brightest startups in the land. The role is officially based in Bangalore – but more likely will be in an Uber or on Row 14C in Indigo 🙂

Its a role that will involve a lot of hard-work but will also have you attend and speak at entrepreneur forums, conferences, setup hangouts, hackathons, and a lot of other fun stuff – with a goal of identifying the most exciting early stage companies and working with my partners and I in investing in them.

So, what will I do on a day to day basis?

  • Build a strong deal sourcing pipeline by hanging out on the Internet, at Parties, At Conferences, At Startup Weekends – anywhere and everywhere you can unearth a great entrepreneur! Get on a plane, get those frequent flier miles, travel the country, speak at conferences, find tomorrow’s RockStars today.
  • Engage with and screen the top deals and entrepreneurs
  • Work closely with the partners to :Potentially work closely with select portfolio companies

    • Perform due diligence on select investment candidates
    • Pick trends and evaluate various theses


What are we looking for:

  • An engineer from a premier institute and possess 2-4 years of professional experience, ideally in a startup.
  • A strong communicator.
  • A flair for meeting and engaging people.
  • Deeply analytical and a strategic thinker.
  • A multi-tasker.
  • Passionate about startups and how they can transform people and businesses.


What will this role do for me?

Well, you will benefit from working directly closely with the partners and get intimately exposed to :

  • A broad view about the investment landscape.
  • Various emerging trends and startups.
  • Investment decision making process.
  • Build a strong business network.
