I and my friend Hemant Sharma always considered ourselves to be entrepreneurs right from the initial days at college. We always used to discuss, analyse and do things differently be it projects or general discussions. At the end of college we both got placed in reputed companies and somehow things became “ROUTINE” in job.
However, my life changed the day i got engaged to my wife Rupali. She was the one who made me realise my inner calling and that i need to “RESIGN” from the safe job of Corporate/IT world. I joined my dad (it had always been my dream to take our company to newer heights). In the start things very so thrilling and I could not wait to go to office but as many say “CHANGE IS NOT THAT EASY”, i started getting involved in daily operations, I got so busy in my routine that I forgot how it felt to be “PASSIONATE”. I started doing “JOB” at my own company.
And then came the lucky day when out of blue Hemant called me. We spoke for some time and he mentioned about Alok’s blog. After the talk I thought to myself that have I become “A Business Man”. But how different is a “Entrepreneur” from “Business man”? My mind had somehow made this impression that entrepreneurs are better. Unable to sleep so I visited RODINHOOD, I am sure all the members know what happened next. ” I GOT LUCKY”!!
Till date, this community has never failed to lighten the spark in me.I take this opportunity to thank Alok, Asha and all the members of this community for keeping me motivated. I was lucky that Hemant brought me here..
PS: In a separate post would like to discuss more on the difference between Entrepreneur and Business man.
