Hello friends.
I am a Rodinhooder from Ahmedabad. I haven’t posted much content but I am a regular reader. I took my startup as a fulltime job from Feb 1st, 2012. As we near the first anniversary, we want to put our product in the market. It was first just a concept I tested out and some people took note of it, and after various iterations we are here with what can really “work”.
The idea was to bridge the gap between the physical and the real world using QR Codes. Our solution is for businesses/products/services to get instantly connected to their customers using QR Codes. Our product Anatag lets you create a QR Code that serves as a single point of contact between you and your customers, and lets you connect to them offline i.e. when they are away from their computer.
You can try it on our website www.anatag.com.
I have presented it before and the feedback has helped us improve our thing to this level. It would be great to listen to what you Rodinhooders think about our product.
Thanks,
Kaushal

Dear Kaushal,
I believe your website needs to be made even more simple to the point of being “idiot proof” in terms of communication. The concept does not come out very clearly for a novice visiting your website. What you are hawking is not really augmented reality but a virtual business card!
The links to use cases lead to the same page and the scans only reveal the home page which is static. Perhaps you could add better use cases along with videos. Would urge you to have a look at Telibrahma (my partners for augmented reality) work. Their website can give you an insight as to where you guys should aim.
Hope this helps.

@Pawan: As I have clearly mentioned in the post above, this is an application of QR Codes, but we do have a real augmented reality application; just that I don’t want to spill the beans right now.
Besides, I have seen the work of Telibrahma and it has been “pretty inspiring”. But here we are trying to do something different.
Yes, we need better use cases, we were just waiting for some realtime clients and we will update them soon. But really, thanks a lot for bringing that in notice.
