If I would have been in your situation, I wont have booked or would have postponed the plans, the call center executive was doing her job, probably she has never been to a holiday you wanted to go, she has to believe on whatever is being spoken to her on conference calls, you had to take responsibility of your decision rather then transferring it over to Call Center Executive.
