Hi everyone
We are working on this product startup Page00. Aim is to allow users to quickly publish their individual project pages.
I am the founder with a small team working with me. We are based in Delhi.
Brief Background
A year back, while at job, I was looking to put webpages for my college projects online so that anyone could get information about them from a google search. Only good solution which was in my mind was github pages. Most of the other solutions were either blogging engines or website builders and in almost all of them, I could not edit html, javascript code of the page.
At the same time, I was working on couple of B2B products but was not able to get my enthusiasm going. Finally I decided to build something which I would love to use as a user first and started working on Page00.
Points I had in mind while working on it
- Product for individual users not for businesses
- Just a quick single page, NO building website, NO maintaining blog, etc.
- Complete control for people who can code.
- No Ads on the pages
- Ability to maintain several independent project pages under same account.

i briefly watched your video – the volume is really low and i’m afraid the v/o is not very inspiring 🙁
i know everyone is on a shoestring budget – catch hold of a friend who has a stronger voice and can demo it. it will make a world of a difference!

WHY is this going to be relevant?
I can’t understand the “so that anyone could get information about them from a google search.” you mentioned.
Do you expect these pages to be crawled by Google?
Also, why not Github that anyways is a very popular destination?
Why are you duplicating what exists?

Yes, the public project pages created on Page00 gets crawled by search engines. I as a user have a page for one of my project ‘Indian Television Guide API’ Example search: https://www.google.co.in/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=indian%20television%20guide%20api
What I meant was to have your project pages on a domain with higher authority in SEO.
We are specifically aiming to build a platform for project pages. You need not to be a programmer, or have knowledge about git to publish a page about your project. Some of the pages published by people with no knowledge on Git.
Other than this, Github Pages has limited number of templates for limited use cases and one needs to integrate third party analytics to track page visit statistics.
We are not trying to be out of the box solution, but trying to solve existing pain points for a user who quickly needs to publish a simple project page online.
