Hi Rodinhooders,
Developing a website that is offering services to customers. Currently checking the suitable payment gateways for our requirements. Expected customer base will be India and international. These are the options we tried until now.
PayPal : Easy to integrate but credit cards from India not working. Then thought to opt out this because need to maintain 2 gateways one for India other International.
2Checkout : They mention accepting international payments including Indian currency . Tried sandbox account and working. I think this is one good option for Indian merchants if the item sell price is in the higher side.
CCAvenue : Currently checking on. Happy until now with the options. Will try integrating after approval.
Store Front
I was not giving much attention to Stores because of the type of the items we are planning to sell. Thinking that store front would be more suitable if we have many displayable units (physical goods) to sell.
But after reading few payment gateways deactivating accounts stories, keep thinking Store fronts is an option for us.CCAvenue came with a storefront which is free for one year. Would like to check it out any of the Rodinhooders attempted using Storefronts for selling digital services/packages.

Thanks Anoop.
I checked the site. it is written they do not accept international cards.
I liked the interface and they have variety of options too.

There are few other payment gateways:
1. payu.in
2. payzippy.com
3. ebs.in
4. citruspay.com
5. zaakpay.com
Thanks!

CCAvenue accepts International Cards and is good for digital goods. If you’re okay with paying 5% on your sales, Instamojo is the best bet for digital goods and services (Has USD and INR).

That’s right Asha. there are good posts regarding it. Will use this search engine first for common issues. i am new to this site.
Sheroff: Checked the site. will keep this in mind and in touch once things overflow from our hands.
Tarun: Few of these were in our comparison list. for example Payzippy support international payment but not for digital service and goods.
Thanks to all for the help.
