I recently came across a post by John Peter asking for advise on how to spend 50K on digital marketing for his site.
I noticed that redmyna offers a small part of our offerings called frameurpicture. A service where we print and frame the pictures uploaded by customers.
I went thru www.redmyna.com and came across exact copy of some content from my site.
Attached are screenshots of the copied content on redmyna and the original source on https://frameurpicture.artjini.com
My question to Rodinhooders:
1. While I have not copyrighted the text written there, what action can I take other than requesting John Peter to remove it? Is it possible to report this to Google?
John Peter: Pl remove the plagiarised content from ur site. Thoda tho original bano…

what the hell is going on?
– Google wont care about some copy in the site – most Terms and Conditions of all content sites read the same
– I’m posting this IN Peter’s article!

I did not post this IN peter’s article because, for some curious reason, the page is blank when I open it (since yesterday). Thanks for posting this.
Screenshot attached. That is what the hell is going on.

FYI, you don’t need to copyright original written content. any original work you create is yours as long as it was written prior to the plagiarized text. Legal action, if needed can still be taken without holding an official copyright for such works.

You can file a copyright infringement notice with Google. With the latest Emanuel update that will earn redmyna a black mark and make it more difficult for them to rank in the search results. Just google Emanuel update and look for the link where you can file your claim.
But if it is just one snippet of instructions that they’ve lifted then I’d suggest trying to settle it man to man. Call John Peter over to a Rodinhoods meeting, string up by his eye lashes, put on boxing gloves and beat him up. 🙂

Thanks everybody for the responses.
Abey:
How does one go about filing a copyright infringement notice with Google? Not for this case, but in general, for information’s sake.
As you have suggested, i have already requested John Peter in my original post.
