Job Description
At Mr. Homecare, we are looking to build a crack software development team including several Senior Software Developers responsible for managing and monitoring the interchange of data between our centralized servers and different types of users accessing our platform. As a Platform Developer, your primary focus will be the development of server-side logic and APIs, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from a variety of front-end clients. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application; therefore, a solid understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Education: Formal background in Computer Science preferred but not required.
Salary: 6 to 15 lacs pa, negotiable depending on experience.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Web or general Software Development experience using LAMP, Django, NodeJS, Ruby on Rails, .NET or other relatable stacks
- 2+ years of experience scripting in Linux using the command line
- 2+ years of experience working in a highly productive software development team with a sophisticated SDLC using version control tools like git
- 1+ years of experience with cloud-computing IaaS such as AWS or OpenStack Recommended experience (any subset of what’s below is a big plus)
- 2+ years of experience with Python and Django in a production environment
- 1+ years of experience with NodeJS and related frameworks such as Meteor, Ember, ExpressJS
- 2+ years of experience with Magento or other ecommerce storefront
- 2+ years of experience with WordPress
- 2+ years of experience developing an ecommerce backend or sophisticated ERP
- Ability to draw wireframes using Balsamiq, Adobe Photoshop
- Ability to draw diagrams using Microsoft Visio or Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw
- Blue-chip SaaS experience at Software MNC or App Company eg Saavn, Eros Now, Google, Facebook, Citrix, Zomato etc preferred, even as a subcontractor, but any valid development experience will be considered equally
Job Responsibilities:
- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Integration of data storage solutions
Required Skills:
- Expert in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework such as Django
- Expert in PHP, with knowledge of at least one PHP web framework such as Laravil or Codeigniter
- Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Familiar with proxying web traffic with Nginx and caching using Redis
- Expert in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, especially using helper libraries and templating engines like JQuery, Sass, Less
- Strong experience on Responsive Web Design (RWD)
- Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Proficient understanding of DVCS such as Git or Mercurial
- Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL RDBMS
- Experience with NoSQL database such as MongoDB
