quick question subrat… how do intend to back this statement –

i mean how does one predict/guarantee the success of anything that goes viral??? every youtube vid that goes viral doesn’t become as famous as gangnam style, right?!

As you are rightly said, every video on YouTube will not become a success story like Gangnam style. Gangnam style has already earned $8 mln from YouTube based on its views and ad shown during its play.
The success of anything goes viral depends on the content, how are you showing and in what way are you presenting your content. In our platform anyone can start promoting video at INR 1000 ( minimum lifetime budget), but if somebody wants a success like Gangnam style then that has to be planned strategically. That is what we are right now closely working with some brands.

The idea looks definitely promising, if executed well. I just have a small suggestion: When people sign up for these kind of services, the expectations are really very high. Something like you said : $8 mln. But, that’s not possible for an educational video, however excellent the marketing may be. So, setting expectations with your publishers would be one of the important things. My 2 cents.

Like you said for an educational video $8mln dollar is something big figure to earn, but yes for professionals who are uploading educational videos on YouTube they can add some extra revenues out of it. A number of Beauty experts, Educationalists, Home makers are earning some big amounts from their video contents. If you want to manage your YouTube channel professionally, offcourse you can earn something good.

Hi Subrat,
First of all let me congratulate you on your venture. However I have my own doubts about your ad serving platform, especially since your USP is all about making the video go viral. I agree that you have mentioned that content matters, but then isnt that the true point, If the content is good, it will automatically increase the views. What PSY retorted to was cheap stunt (check ytview.com) they even hint clearly that how the entire boost in views was achieved. So coming back to the point, you really have to show some tangible value add for advertisers like us to give a thought to use your system. I sincerely hope this is a breakthrough product because it will really solve a lot of issues advertisers/agencies like us are grappling with.

Thanks a lot Sony for such appreciation. As you said if the content is good then it will automatically go viral, but who will discover your video content until and unless you start promoting it. Yes i understand you can go to a forum like ytview and others to promote the videos. But my question is are they your targeted group to whom you want to show your video? Again all these methods are time taking and not scalable until and unless you start your campaign with google adword for YouTube.
I understand you may have good social media connections where you can promote, but end of day there should be a limit where your ID will be blocked:-)
