We are building an app for enabling shopping. We need an exhaustive product catalog (listing say all products – from FMCG to Electronics) with images and MRP of the same.
Any idea if there is any shortcut to this – any published source/guide/website which offer this as a service?

we have quite a few folks who have asked q’s about stuff to do with product catalog (eg photography!) – so you need to use the search engine and ask these rodinhooders – coz they are likely to know!

You can get Brand, Titles, Images, UPC Codes, Descriptions etc…mainly for the computing, electronics and appliance space.

Thanks. But let me clarify what am looking for –
I require a service which takes as input product name – say Apple iPhone and returns as output the product images, various attributes (iPhone models, different storage capacities) and prices. Preferably if i get a dump of this it would be awesome but can also explore services.
Can see a few start ups providing such services in the US of A – but am looking at someone who does this in India

I am looking for something similar. An API of sorts to pull in information. Did you happen to find anything? PhoneArena has one for mobile phones, but that’s US specific.
