Hi RodinHooders,
Sorry if you have answered this question earlier. I am new member here, I’ve have gone through some of the posts and got the urge to ask my doubt.
Right Now I’m a Working Professional with Digital Background, me and my friend have decided to start providing online marketing solutions (SEO, SMO, SEM…)
We have booked domains .com and .in for the same. Website work is going on and will complete soon.
I’m confused about how do we go about once the website is ready. Should I consider registering the company as pvt. ltd. or we should do it as freelancers first, will it affect the trust factor if the company is not registered since we will be developing online leads.
Also, we are planning to accept online overseas payment through paypal for foreign clients if everything goes well. Paypal has both individual and business plans, so will registration affect here or not.
Please help us with your inputs and how we should go about it. Logo registration, name registration, everything is totally new for us.

What you want to Do, depends on how you and your partner are contracted as per mutually agreed on terms since IP (Intellectual Property cannot be registered on two email ids or names too, though can be done on a companys name for the purpose, as per the dissolution terms mentioned in case of any disputes in this regards taken care of)
Domain should have been registered on one email id and name as you know already, paypal does not have any issues with the registration part but works on the email id, pan card (of the concern) and the bank account, so linked and verified for the company (business) account which would be a current account in that case rather than an individual savings account.
For receiving online payments would need a forex current account linked to your company current account with them too in the respective currency (USD, UK pound, Euro, AUS dollar, Riyal, Dihram etc) with your bank check with them for this purpose.
RBI has come up with some stricter rules recently starting last year onwards if not a registered company (LLC or PVT) with ROC can’t open even an account for that matter until done, so check with your local bank for best options, they can provide in this regards too for more specific details.
We have a few IP consultants here on trhs who can guide more on the IP requirements so also for the company formation too which have already been covered on a few other posts too earlier Search.

Thanks Darshan for the help. I had gone through the Freelance or Register the company post before asking my question and hence was not sure. The post replies emphasized on starting as a freelancer and then moving on to register a company, so I was thinking the same. And hence wanted to clear the doubts about how payments can be done if we develop a website and accept online payments.
I’ll search for more posts for a better understanding. Thanks Again!! Cheers!!!
