Dear All,
I am writing this post to request you all to help me with a piece of Seva for our spiritual school NIRA (https://www.niramultiversity.org/)
We believe in manifesting things required for our cause/activities through donations.
As someone who has benefitted immensely from NIRA this is a humble attempt to do something so that others continue to benefit too.
We are currently in need of a few things and I would be extremely grateful if you all can help donate these to us..
1. A Whiteboard (if possible with a stand)
2. A Cycle
Any other things at home/office that are just lying around, or things you want to throw away or not being used, please consider donating it to us.
e.g Unused clothes, electronics,
You can reply here or send an email to makarand84@gmail.com if you wish to donate anything.
Also, I would like to express my gratitude towards Alok for encouraging me to post this on The Rodinhoods and unselfishly offering to help promote this.
UPDATE :
We have received both the items:
Thank you..
Gautam Arni for the Cycle
Alok and Chhavi Ma’am for the Whiteboard and Stand
Sameer Malkani
Lots of home stuff, side tables, mattresses, old clothes etc. would be an honour to donate. Please connect on sameermalkani@gmail.com

One friend was given a broken piece of showroom glass. U know the big thick ones we find in commercial buildings. He got it cut in one small rectangle and another in bigger rectangle shape and got them both framed and simply painted back side of the glass with White. And that is the best recycle and second cheapest whiteboard replacement I have seen. I noticed many glass broken prices like that on roads kept aside.
If you have glass partition then just paste white paper on other side.
Cheapest one : I had got plastic wrap sheet , thick one and simply taped it to the white wall! You can take old ply wood put full drawing sheets on it and then paste the transparent paper on it.
They all work pretty good as white board. Glass has some disadvantages.. See the links below. Yet, I suggested these alternatives cuz you are running a school and as it grows you will need more and more boards.

Omkar,
Those are really interesting ideas.
Let me explain our usage..
We do not have a fixed location or classrooms. The venue keeps on changing based on what is available to use on donation at a particular time.
The venue is either a classroom in some school.(No problem here as these already have boards.)
Or Small marriage / banquet halls (This is where we need the whiteboard )
So we need just one whiteboard. We would need to transport it every time and hence the glass version will not suit.

done.. the only issue is i couldn’t get to change the name for delivery. it wouldn’t let me put 2 separate names .. one as billing and 2 as shipping. so hopefully it isn’t an issue.. have also mentioned your cell phone and pasted the order details herewith..
glad i could be of help, and if there is anything else i could do, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
