Job Description
What would you be doing…
- Working with design and business teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and translate that into an effective solution
- Building robust and scalable multi-tenant SaaS application in Java
- Designing and creating services, system architectures, and data storage schemas for core backend
- Brainstorming and contributing ideas to our product
- Optimizing the application for maximum speed and scalability
- Implementing security and data protection

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about building great technology and getting things done. You’re smart enough to work at top companies, but you’re picky about finding the right role (this is more than just a job, right?). You’re experienced, but you also like to learn new things. And you want to work with smart people and have fun building something great.
You also meet most (if not more) of the following requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in software design and development
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a related field, or an intriguing reason for not having one – for example you are a hacker in true sense!
- You find satisfaction in a job well done and want to solve head-scratching challenges
- Strong skills in Core Java
- Strong skills in Enterprise Java – Spring, Hibernate, Web Services using JSON, XML parsing
- Experience working with a messaging solution like ActiveMQ very good to have.
- Good Database skills – on MySQL, Oracle etc.
- Must have worked on one or more Enterprise Java application servers such as JBoss, WebLogic etc.
- Good to have skills on using No SQL databases such as MongoDB, NoSQL etc.
- Experience in building mobile apps good to have.
- Strong skills in problem solving, solving basic algorithms a must.
- Strong problem solving skills through analytical thinking a must.
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, results-oriented culture
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- You’re so much fun to work with, that if you were working on the weekend, we’d want to join you.
