After running LazyNinja for 2 years and interacting with many e-commerce companies, I have realised, reverse logistics and handling e-commerce returns is big pain point. Tackling that, I have launched my 2nd venture ShipNinja couple of weeks back.
The Story behind the Idea –
I went to my home town a month back and forgot my bike keys there. After coming back to Hyderabad, I told my dad to courier them. That time, he was so busy with office work and could not take time off during office timings. And after office hours, couriers were closed. I kept calling him everyday. One day he jokingly asked, “When I visited Hyderabad, you called that Ola Cabs using your mobile app. Don’t you have some other app using which I can just call courier to my office and get it picked up?”
It was a great idea and I started doing lot of research on it. 
Well, finally he got time after a week, but he had no knowledge of which courier is best for Hyderabad. He found one local courier nearby and sent it via that courier charging him Rs 150/- for a single key. It took 8 days to finally reach me. In those 8 days, I had to track it every single day to see where it has reached. It was a pain and thus SHIPNINJA was born with an aim to make sending couriers a magical experience.

What problem are you solving?
These days, we are all either Too Busy or Too Lazy. Sending couriers is a pain. We have to find the perfect packing material for item’s safety. Of course, we are not packing experts so we end up doing jugaad with whatever

Using our simple and awesome mobile app or using whatsapp, just take a Picture of any item to be Couriered, Enter Pick up and Delivery address and relax. We will take care of the rest. We will pick up the unpacked item from your doorstep, our expert team will pack it for safety and we will send it via more reliable and economical courier saving you lot of time and money. Oh yes, we will also track the courier and inform you once it is delivered. Isn’t it a magical experience? You just take a pic of the item and phuuufff… its gone..
That sounds awesome.. How much do you charge?
That’s the best part. There is NO Extra charge for pick up and packing. It’s all FREE. Whatever you pay to post office or courier counter, we charge less than that for the entire process. Aren’t we a sweetheart?
I have never heard your name. Are you a courier company?
No no. See, that’s the beauty of it. We don’t own a courier company. We just facilitate the pick up, packaging and tracking. We have tied up with BlueDart, Fedex, GoJavas, First Flight and DTDC. Based on your destination, we select the best courier. Any headache dealing with them is ours.
Are you telling me you will track it also for me?
Didn’t we tell you to relax and chill? We are employing a dedicated team who will track the packages and intervene in case of any issues. Once we pick up from your location, just forget about it. We will track it, we will follow up with courier customer care and we will also notify you once it is delivered. So even if you are an individual or an e-commerce company, you can concentrate on important tasks and leave the shipping to us.
I need to send Ostrich Eggs.. How do you guarantee the safety?
We are employing people who are experts in packaging and from crafts n arts background so that each package is carefully examined and packed in such a way that it is safe for transit. We also pack it so that it reduces the volumetric weight and saves you cost.
What if the Ostrich Eggs break? They are very rare you know?
Worry not. All the items sent via ShipNinja are automatically insured upto Rs 10,000/- and if you can think your item is more precious and need extra insurance, just let us know and we will provide you the guarantee.
Awesome.. I love it.. What else can you do for me?
Along with singing Altaf Raja songs, we can do a lot things. Ordered something online but doesn’t fit and need to send it for replacement? Gone are the days of packing it, talking to online company and sending it, then asking for courier charges back. Just summon us. We are doing collaborations with as many online companies as possible. So, just take a pic of item and select which company you need to return it back to. We will follow up with that company and return it to them. 
OR if you yourself own an e-commerce store or you are someone who sends out couriers very frequently, we can take care of your entire logistics for you. Every e-commerce company feels like they are running 2 businesses, one their own and another a logistics firm by constantly tracking and follow ups with courier customer care. We don’t want to see you suffer. Please leave that to us and you take care of selling those awesome t-shirts online.

We have currently launched in Hyderabad city and are seeing very good traction. You can help us by spreading the word about us to your friends and colleagues. Right now we are trying out different marketing channels online & offline to see which brings us more exposure and traction.
