We have created a set of document for our clients as we feel Digital Marketing Clients don’t have right expectations (often). We are making it open for our clients (not to all, only for clients) … they can copy the documents too. These documents are amazingly brilliant (Atleast I feel so 🙂 )
I told my team:
Don’t be afraid of getting copied, they will die if they copy. Neither Rabbit can copy Tortoise nor Tortoise can copy rabbit, when they copy they follow others and fail. We improve daily as we know what we are doing, the guys who copy from us are depended on us. We need to progress, we also get inspired by others and accommodate it in our plans but we know what we are adding to our systems. Lets other do the same. Smarter people will anyway be better than us and they are the only guys who are threat but let copy too 🙂 .. lets compete with best and beat the best.

I always over communicate. Execution requires experience and even if you give them a 20 step program to execute there are too many variables that they need to be aware of to execute well without guidance. Besides the real danger is the customer not understanding the online environment. Those who want to shaft you will attempt to do so anyway. I try to step away from those kinds as quickly as possible.
