Hi there!
Thought I’d introduce my new Concept for offices, of sizes varying from a start-ups’ to large corporate offices.
My venture www.studiosaurab.com specializes in Custom-made Art for Office Imagery. This would fall in the unexplored space between branding/advertising and interior decorations/aesthetics (without the budget-breaking costs of either).
Custom-made Art is all about you defining the Subject/Themes and choosing from a range of Art-styles, which i then convert into an oil painting (the attachment has a live example of the process). You are thus able to co-create Art that captures your Company’s Story, rendered in your preferred Art-Style.
Having spent years in advertising (Ogilvy & Mather, Mudra, telecom), I decided to take the entrepreneurial route with this venture, that combines my brand-building experience with oil painting.
They are targeted at External (Customers, Partners) and Internal Audiences (Employees), and are also specific to the Functionality of the office-sections (office-reception for addressing Customers and Visitors, art-themes specific to various departments etc).
Visualize, if you will, your Company’s Brand Identity, Vision & Mission, Internal Communications, Products & Services, and Employee-Initiatives as Subjects, converted into Art that are displayed at your office.
It’s an Innovative, Permanent, High-Impact and Cost-Effective medium that works for your Company’s Perception.
I am attaching a quick reference of some of my commissioned Corporate Art, as also the process I follow to make the final paintings.
My website carries the portfolio and more details on the Concept.
Look forward to hearing your response to this.

Saurabh – i see a lot of potential in the idea as once me and my business partner decided to take this route alongside our own ad-venture. 🙂 But we realized that it’s a full-time dedicated mission and one needs to be very sure of all aspects related to it.. When I saw this post on my wall, I had a smile on my face!! 🙂 Sharing some of my thoughts below:
Now coming to your work till now, why just oil painting??.. office interior is all about a whole lot of stuff.. it’s not just about the painting on the wall or framed sets of creatives – there are other things like which corner should portray what, what vibes should the conference room give w.r.t to company attributes and brand image.. I have myself garnered clients who came just to see the stuffs I had done to my office and ended up working on projects. No kidding. Explore the angles you have left.. Tell your clients clearly why something like this would work for them!! Only an all-inclusive idea can make you reach out to maximum number of companies…
Talking about innovation interests very few… talk to them about value and that too defined ones. Being creative is passe, being outstandingly lucrative and value-oriented in IN.
BTW loved the art,.. would have loved to see them along with the space where they were used!

hey anamika
glad you like the stuff and thanks for sharing it
liked your observations. currently i offer oil paintings as that is my chosen medium. canvases have a higher buy-in given clients’ risk appetite, my aim for universality etc.. down the line, will team-up with artists in other media (murals, sculptures, installations) coz there are requirements for them in my client-interactions
would be great if you could share the work you have done for your clients and other learnings. what is your set-up called?
cheers
