I am associated with a NGO, which works on the overall development of the quality of life of an individual by providing him access to education, health, credit, counselling and mentoring.
As part of the mandate, we are working on creating employment opportunities for fresh graduates. We all are aware of the massive skill gap that graduates have, which is a major hindrance for them to get employed. Also, with the new age economy the traditional path of employment is getting disrupted.
Keeping this in mind, I have prepared a survey with the following objectives:
- Which industries have demand for jobs?
- What are the skills required? eg: an accountant job will require analytical skills
- What are opportunities in the startup space?
