#TestUrApp – Now a chance to build Inclusion

Hey Rodinhoods,

Being a quiet observer on this group, thought it was time to share something with you’ll.

I am the founder of BarrierBreak – our focus is making technology accessible to people with disabilities. When I founded BarrierBreak, what excited me was that the power of technology could probably help us build inclusion. I couldn’t change the roads, the stations, the theatres but maybe I can change the web!

Most of us don’t think of this potential target audience of approx. 70 million in India and 1 billion around the world.

If you have a website, mobile app, ebook, or a game, we can provide testing services by people with disabilities themselves to tell you if your product complies with international standards, guidelines and laws.

In addition, we also sell assistive technology products that are used by people with disabilities and senior citizens. It might be a reading writing tool for a dyslexic or a portable magnifier for senior citizens.

Some of our clients include Microsoft, Oracle, Accenture, Mindtree, Georgia Tech, Delhi University, etc.

Today, if you can just take 2 mins from your crazy schedules and think of how your app, your service, your website can also benefit people with disabilities and the elderly, I can assure you of a loyal group of customers whose needs are large unmet!

Enough of the gyan, and down to what I actually would like to share with you!

#TestUrApp – https://barrierbreak.strikingly.com

Submit your App to the BarrierBreak team and receive feedback on 3 high impactful changes that can make your app Accessible and Inclusive to people with disabilities!

On 20th May, BarrierBreak is celebrating Global Accessibility Awareness Day by testing Apps for FREE all through the day!

Our team of accessibility testers including people with disabilities will test your app and suggest recommendations to make your App reach 70 million people with disabilities in India.

Join us in building inclusion!

And if you want any more ideas on inclusion, happy to meet over a coffee!
