But this post is not about Stayzilla.
I moonlight as a fiction writer, have created the character – “Prince Surya” and a series of adventures of the prince in a universe steeped in Indian mythology. The first three adventures (part of a trilogy) have been e-published already (links can be found further down – Please click on the adventure title).
I am of the firm opinion that the time is ripe for “Indian mythology based fiction” to be taken to the world since the regular super hero & far eastern fiction have run their course.
I am reaching out via this platform for the following reasons –
- To ask for feedback – On the concept & storyline.
- To source partners who would be interested in gamifying/ serializing/ cartoonizing the character & the entire universe in which the adventures reside in (ala Star Wars).
- To source publishers (or) publisher introductions for taking the concept & adventure series to the mass market.
- To serve as an open letter to anyone looking to creating engaging content for kids, tweens on television, print or other media.

Adventure 1 – Origins & the Battle of Nakshatra
In the first book of the Prince Surya adventure series, the warrior, superhero prince crosses the length and breadth of the universe and the wheel of time in search of love and war in an unshakeable quest to save his descendants from extinction.
The prince is all alone in this quest and has to battle an entire race of technologically advanced aliens, a form shifting time traveller and a master of black magic hidden in the very edge of the universe.
Surya has to race against time in this adventure as he battles nightmares from his past which come back to haunt him and steal the love of his life. Surya’s supernatural gifts are stretched to the fullest as he attempts to fight destiny, quirks in the time-space continuum and his enemies single-handed….
Adventure 2 – Evil Rises Within
In the second book of the Prince Surya series, a serial killer is on the loose at Indravati and the prince tries to find answers to the mysterious deaths plaguing his capital city. His quest for the truth threaten his very fabric of existence and his sanity. His consciousness goes through multiple avatars as he uncovers parts of himself which he never knew existed…
Adventure 3 – Legend of the Blue Monkey
The army of ants were crawling up his brain…he could feel that sensation…he felt himself losing his sanity and perspective of the world… but could do nothing about it…
The transformation was complete, his mind went blank and in place of the confused and subdued prince Surya, stood a laughing, chest beating – Jeevanaputra who was roaring –
“Jeevanaputra lives again…all bow before me!!!!”
