Finally decided on having the event on Sunday – the 18th of December.
It’s at Vong Wong restaurant at Nariman Point.
Trust me, the choice of venue is good – the place is amazing, the weather in Mumbai will be awesome and the food and drinks will make you all very happy.

Hi All!
I’m thinking of having a Mumbai Rodinhoods.com get together on the 16th of December – Friday.
Now, I want ideas and HELP:
– Venue?
I’m thinking of a banquet hall that we will easily cross 50 people. It could go higher.
So, lets have a place where we can comfortably assemble, mingle around (rather than sit on tables) and also get basic drinks and starters and food?
Imagine like Beers/Basic Drinks/ Soft Drinks/Starters and Biryani/Dal/Rotis?
Could be more elaborate if people want?!
The idea is to really get high on the energy of the meeting and not make it really an easy affair
– Logistics
To book a banquet hall, I will need a deposit/minimum guarantee
So I’m thinking of getting people to send me their cheques/advances and once I reach the minimum amount then we are set?
If there is a nice demand than make it a slightly bigger place?
Makes sense? Would people send in their moneys ?
– Location
I say South Mumbai coz I live there 🙂
But I am open to ideas..
It should be in a friendly enough place so that even if people wanna stay near by (if they come from Delhi /Bangalore etc) then its easy?
– Owner
WOULD really appreciate a Volunteer/Owner who is good at these things and hence can drive the event PLEASE…
I think the event should be open to ALL – so that people mingle and discover the passion of what the rodinhoods stand for!!!
– Next Steps
I would love to get comments/ideas and then freeze on a place and cost and simply ask people then to get their calendars in order.
